Archaeological Survey and Soil Testing

Survey prior to construction on the proposed 4Rivers Port property takes place. In common with many riverbank sites in the area, evidence of Native American civilizations abounds. Here arrow heads and pottery of around 1,500 years old are found in one of 20 digs on the 104 acre site. There have been no archaeological finds or soil issues that would disrupt construction as planned.
